“When I painted ‘Last Stand,’ I was really moved by a particular image I saw on Pinterest, and I knew I had to bring that feeling to life on canvas. It was about capturing that bittersweet moment in nature when autumn’s fiery beauty is just about to give way to winter’s quiet embrace. For me, it’s about those golden trees, holding onto their vibrant leaves with such strength, standing bright against the coming chill. And right there beside them, the bare, silvery trees already hint at the season to come. I love how their reflections mirror this transition in the still, misty waters below – it’s a beautiful, powerful image of nature’s constant cycle of letting go and preparing for renewal.”
